Paddling is a sport for everyone, catering to a wide range of skill and fitness levels, as well as the individual motivations of each paddler. Paddle Australia takes pride in supporting a diverse community and offers numerous opportunities for participation, including paddling, volunteering, officiating, instructing and coaching.
Paddle Australia is the peak sporting body for paddling in Australia and recognised as the National Sporting Organisation for the sport by the Australian Sports Commission (ASC). Additionally, it is affiliated with the International Canoe Federation (ICF), Australian Olympic Committee and Paralympics Australia (PA).
As a federated organisation, our six (6) State Paddle Associations (SPAs) exist to support members within their respective states. They aim to promote, strengthen, and advocate for paddling at a club level, ensuring that more people and communities can enjoy the sport. Our SPAs are committed to supporting both clubs and direct members to ensure everyone can experience the joys of paddling.
